This 6 days tour will cover Monasteries (Thiksey & Hemis) and Khardungla Pass – the highest motorable road in the world. Besides, you will also visit beautiful Pengong Lake and night stay in Camp.

Day 1
Arrive Leh

Indian Traditional welcome at Leh airport by our local representative and transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free and relax to acclimatization at 3500 mtr above sea level. Evening walk around local bazaar in Leh. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2
Leh - Monasteries

Today excursion trip to the famous monasteries to attend morning prayer ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh region. On the way back visit Shey Palace, Sindhu Darshan and Ranchoo School. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3
Leh - Khardungla Pass (5600 km)

Morning visit Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar river meet. Drive back to Leh. Afternoon visit to Khardongla Pass – the highest motorable road, enjoy beautiful view from the top and feel being top of the world. On your way back visit Shanti Stupa located on the hilltop at Changspa. Shanti Stupa – constructed by a Japanese Buddhist organization, known as ‘The Japanese for World Peace’. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4
Leh / Pengong Lake (135 km)

Morning drive Leh / Pengong Lake by car. Drive through Changla pass (5486 mtr) and enjoy panoramic view of the villages below the pass. Continue drive to Tsoltak – the summer pastureland of the Yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive will take you to the western shore of the Pangong Lake. Pangong Lake – the famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 km wide and over 144 km long with half of it’s running the other side of the ‘INDO CHINA BORDER’. One rarely feels so close to nature & environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Ovenright stay in Camp.

Day 5
Pengong Lake / Leh

Morning walk around the Pangong lake. After breakfast drive to Leh. Arrive Leh, check-in hotel and relax. Rest of the day free to walk around local bazaar in Leh. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 6
Leh / Delhi By Air

Morning transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi.
