Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu

Welcome / Assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu. Visit Swayambhunath and Kathmandu City – Darbar Square. Overnight stay in Kath-mandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu / Mountain Flight / Nagarkot (36 km)

Early moring Mountain Flight. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and drive to Nagarkot. En-route visit Bhakatapur – one of the most charming architectural show-pieces of the valley, as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. Main Attractions: The Golden Gate and Palace of Fifty Five Windows. Continue drive to Nagarkot and witness sunset. Overnight stay in Nagarkot.

Day 3
Nagarkot / Pokhara (240 km)

Early morning witness sunrise over snow capped Himalayan peaks. Enjoy hot breakfast in hotel. Later drive to Pokhara. Stop in midway for tea/coffee break. Continue drive to Pokhara.

Ovenright stay in Pokhara.

Day 4
Pokhara

Today visit Seti George, Devis Fall, Mahendra Caves and Bindya Basini Temple. Evening enjoy boating in Fewa Lake. Ovenright stay in Pokhara.

Day 5
Pokhara / Chitwan National Park

Early morning excursion trip to Sarangkot to witness beautiful sunrise over snow capped Annapur-na range of Himalaya. Return to hotel for breakfast. Later drive to Chitwan National Park.

Check-in hotel. Evneing enjoy Tharu cultural show (live show) performed by local village people. Overnight stay in Chitwan.

Day 6
Chitwan National Park

Full day jungle activities including Elephant safari, canoeing and jungle walk etc.

Overnight stay at resort.

Day 7
Chitwan National Park / Kathmandu

Morning transfer to Bharatpur Airport.

Dep: Bharatpur / Kathmandu By Air

Airport assistance and transfer to hotel. Later visit Patan City and free time for shopping.

Ovenright stay in Kathmandu.

Day 8
Kathmandu / Paro

Meeting / assistance and transfer to hotel. Evening walk around Paro market and town. Ovenright in Paro.

Day 9
Paro / Thimphu

Morning drive to Thimphu en route visit Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of the King-dom which now houses the School for religious and cultural studies.

Afternoon free for shopping and leisure.

Overnight Hotel Motithang or similar, Thimphu.

Day 10
Thimphu

Morning drive to BBS Tower for fascinating view of Thimphu valley and later visit Mini zoo, Anim Dratshang (nunnery), National Library, Handmade Paper factory & Memorial Chorten (stupa). Afternoon, as the time permits, visit to School of Arts & Crafts, Textile & Folk Heritage Museum, Zangtho Pelri Lhakahng (lhakhang = temple) and Handicrafts Emporium.

Overnight Hotel Motithang or similar, Thimphu.

Day 11
Thimphu / Punakha

Morning drive to Punakha taking a short stop at Dochula pass (3,080m) that heralds the most enchanting views of Bhutan.

Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong and Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten (chorten = stupa).

Evening free in fascinating Punakha valley.

Overnight Hotel Zangtho Pelri or similar, Punakha.

Day 12
Punakha / Wangduephodrang / Paro (145 km / 5 hrs driver)

Morning drive to Wangduephodrang town visiting Dzong and local market. Later drive to Paro.

Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.

Day 13
Paro

Morning visit Drukgyel Dzong (dzong = fortress/monastery), the ruined fortress from where Bhutanese repelled several invasion by Tibetan armies. On a clear day, there is splendid view of Mt. Chomolhari from the approach road to this Dzong.

Later visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong, the fortress which has a long and fascinating history.

Evening visit to Kyichu Lhakhang (lhakhang = temple).

Overnight Hotel Olathang or similar, Paro.

Day 14
Depart Paro

Morning transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination.
