A perfect itinerary to enjoy natural beauty of Eastern Himalaya from Darjeeling and enter Bhutan by road. You drive to Gangtok to Jaldapara OR Chalsa to enter Bhutan by road. Cross India - Bhutan border and meet our representative. Proceed to Thimphu and explore Wangdi, Bhumthang and Paro. From Paro you can fly to Kathmandu or Delhi.

Routing : Darjeeling - Pemayangtse - Martam - Gangtok - Jaldapara - Thimphu - Wangdue - Bhumthang - Paro - Delhi or Kathmandu.

Day 01 ARRIVE DARJEELING (Bagdogra 90 km/New Jalpaiguri 137 km)
Arr : Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri By Air/Train From Delhi OR Kolkata
Welcome/Assistance upon arrival in Bagdogra Airport/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.
Dep: Bagdogra/New Jalpaiguri By Car/Jeep
Arr : Darjeeling
Direct transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 DARJEELING
Morning visit Sumendu Lake, Mirik.
Rest of the day free and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 DARJEELING
Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill to behold the most spectacular sunrise and the Himlayan Mountains with the visit to Ghoom Monastery (YIGA-CHOLING) to see the statue of Maitrya (coming BUDDHA).
Rest of the day free.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 DARJEELING/PEMAYANGTSE (75 kms/4 hrs drive)
Dep: Darjeeling By Car/Jeep
Arr : Pemayangtse
After breakfast drive to Pemayangtse.

Afternoon visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdantse.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05 PEMAYANGTSE
Full day excursion to Khechepalri Lake/Yuksum/Tashi Ding and back.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 PEMAYANGTSE/MARTAM (132 kms/5 to 5.5 hrs. drive)
Dep: Pemayangtse By Car/Jeep
Arr : Martam
Morning drive to Martam.
Rest of the day free and overnight.

Day 07 MARTAM - GANGTOK
Early morning Tashiview Point then visit Enchey Monastery, Cottage Industry, Tashiling, Market, Tibetology, Orchid Sanctuary, Rumtek Monastery and back to Martam.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 MARTAM
Full day free for individual activities.
OR Excursion to Tshangu Lake and back. (optional)

Day 09 GANGTOK/JALDAPARA OR CHALSA
Morning drive to Jaldapara.

Day 10 JALDAPARA/THIMPHU
Morning drive to Phuntsholing. Meet our Bhutan representative and proceed to Thimphu.

En-route visit Karbandi Gompa, Simtokha Dzong.
Overnight stay at Thimphu at hotel Druk or River View.

Day 11 THIMPHU

Day 12 THIMPHU/WANGDI

Arr : Wangdue
Drive Thimphu to Wangdue visiting the valley of Punakha.
At Punakha visit the Punakha Dzong and on the route back to Wangdue visit the Chimmilhakhang Monastry.
Overnight Kichu Resort.

Day 13 WANGDI/BHUMTHANG
Dep: Wangdi By Car/Jeep
Arr : Bhumtang
Today visit Tongsa Dzong and Bhumtang.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 BHUMTHANG
Morning visit Bhumthang Valley, Jakar Dzone, Tamshing, Lhakhang, Kurje Lhakhang and Jambay Lhakhang.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 BHUMTHANG/WANGDI
Dep: Bhumthang By Car/Jeep
Arr : Wangdi
Morning drive to Wangdi. En-route visit Gangtay Valley the famous Gangtay Monastary is located.
Drive on to Wangdue for overnight stay at Kichu Resort.

Day 16 WANGDI/PARO
Dep: Wangdi By Car/Jeep
Arr : Paro
Morning drive to Paro with lunch at Thimphu.

Afternoon half day sightseeing tour.
